STEP 12 - TUMMY UPSET

The occasional upset stomach can afflict any child. How can we deal with it in an all-natural way?

DIGESTZEN BLEND is an Essential Oil blend that is safe to use with kids, and is suggested to tame any type of tummy issue, from motion sickness to indigestion.

DIGESTIVE BLEND: PRIMARY BENEFITS

  • Aids in the digestion of foods.*

  • Soothes occasional stomach upset.*

  • Helps reduce bloating, gas, and occasional indigestion.*

How to use for kids? Place one to two drops in a carrier oil and gently rub your child's belly with the mixture. Or you can get the DIGESTZEN BLEND in a pre-diluted roller bottle. If children are old enough, they may want to do this themselves. For a very young child (toddler or preschooler) you can make a game of it using the following rhyme.

"ROUND AND ROUND THE GARDEN"

Here’s the words:

ROUND AND ROUND THE GARDEN,

GOES THE TEDDY BEAR;

ONE STEP, TWO STEPS,

TICKLE UNDER THERE!

And here’s how you do it:

Chant the first two lines in a rhythmic way as you rub the DIGESTIVE BLEND on your child's tummy in a clockwise direction. (The direction is important because counterclockwise may cause gas to become lodged in a child's tummy).

Repeat the first two lines until the oil is rubbed in. Then move on to the next two lines:

ONE STEP, TWO STEPS (Walk your fingers up child's chest toward the neck)

TICKLE UNDER THERE! (Use your fingers to gently tickle under your child's chin/neck area)

Don’t be surprised if your child asks you to do this several more times! It’s a fun little game for very young kids, and it works as a nice distraction until the DIGESTIVE BLEND can begin working to eliminate their tummy upset.
